Blackboard Status/Alerts

  • Change to Blackboard Login Method

    Starting this July, Students, Faculty & Staff will log in to Blackboard using their CUNYfirst username (followed by and CUNYfirst password instead of your regular Blackboard credentials.  The process of accessing Blackboard will otherwise be the same.

    EXAMPLE: If your CUNYfirst Username is George.Washington76, you would add to the end of the username so it looks like:  After that, enter in your CUNYfirst password as you normally would to complete the login process to Blackboard

  • Blackboard - Course Size Limits
    In order to manage Blackboard course size efficiently, the CUNY Central Blackboard Steering Committee has implemented a course size limit policy. Click the following link for more information:

    Make your Blackboard course visible to students

    Students will not see your course until it is made "available." To do this, go into your course in Blackboard. Once there, from the control panel on the left menu, click Customization > Properties. Find "Set Availability" and select Yes. Scroll down and click Submit.
