Your Baruch CUNYCard ID is your first step for a safe campus. Display it upon entering any Baruch College building. Showing the card is mandatory; not an inconvenience. Invalid ID cards will be confiscated by a security officer or the ID Center.

Baruch College welcomes anyone with official business during business hours. Visitors can sign in but they must have an appointment or be accompanied by a faculty member. If you would like to have a Campus tour, you should contact the information center to make appropriate arrangements or check out the website http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/undergrad/visit.html
All visitors entering a Baruch College campus building must sign in to the visitor's log located in the lobby of each building. Visitors will be signed in by the Public Safety Officers after the visitor displays valid I.D. (i.e. driver's license). If the visitor does not display valid I.D., he/she will not be admitted to the building. In this case, the visitor will be referred to the Public Safety Office.back to top
All students who take classes at Baruch College must have a Baruch photo CUNYCard ID. New students must go to the CUNYCard center to have their CUNYCard ID photo taken. Continuing students who must obtain a replacement ID should go to CUNYCard ID center. The first Baruch College CUNYCard you receive is a complimentary one. Thereafter, to replace your ID card there will be a charge of $10.00 (Cash Only).
All students must have registered and paid their tuition before they can get an ID card.
If a student is not registered in classes for the current semester, his or her Baruch ID Card becomes invalid at the begining of the semester. Your invalid ID Card will be confiscated if seen on campus.
You are welcome, however, to visit any office during office business hours as a visitor.back to top
All Baruch graduates are eligible to receive a Baruch College Alumni ID Card. Current graduates may turn in their student ID card to obtain an alumni ID (please see below). Graduates of prior years may obtain or re-activate an alumni ID by making a gift of any amount to the Baruch College Fund. You may make your gift in person at the Office of Alumni Relations at 17 Lexinton Ave. (23rd Street,) Room 1504, by phone at 646.660.6097, or online 24 hours a day at: http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/alumni/contribute.html . Questions can be directed to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Contributions are fully tax-deductible and your receipt is all you need to bring to the ID Center to have your photo taken and get or update your alumni ID card. If you need to replace your alumni ID card there will be a charge of $10.00 (Cash Only).

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL GRADUATES
February (Fall semester) graduates may go to the ID Center to get your Alumni Identification Card now. The paperless process will end on March 31. Starting April 1, you must visit the Alumni Office first.
For the May (Spring semester) Graduates, you may use your current student ID to gain entry for the summer. Once the registrar has posted your graduation degree on the registration system you may go to the ID center to get your Alumni Identification Card. The paperless process will end on October 1. Starting October 1 you must visit the Alumni Office first.
For the August (Summer ) graduates, your student ID will expires on the second week of the fall semester. Once the registrar has posted your graduation degree on the registration system you may go to the ID Center to get your Alumni Identification Card. The paperless process will end on December 1. Starting December 1 you must visit the Alumni Office first.

Continuing Studies Students
All Continuing Studies students who are registered for more than three days of classes must have a Baruch photo CUNYCard ID. You must bring your bursar's receipt accompanied with at least one piece of photo identification. The first Baruch College CUNYCard you receive is a complimentary(free) one. Thereafter, to replace your ID card there will be a charge of $10.00 (Cash Only). Any Continuing Studies students who are registered for less than three days, your receipt is good for entry into Baruch College buildings.
All Continuing Studies students' ID Cards are only valid until the end of their program. If you are registered for new classes, you must bring your Baruch ID Card and paid invoice to the ID Center to get updated.back to top
All new employees are required to go the Office of Human Resources to obtain the ID CARD AUTHORIZATION FORM. If you require special access on your card, please advise the card administrator at the time you obtain your card. A special form may be required for this.
An employee who has resigned or has been terminated must return their ID card to their department or the Office of Human Resources. These cards are to be returned to the CUNYCard ID Center or the Office of Public Safety.
If you are a returning employee with a invalid ID, please
A): have your Dean/Chair/Director/Manager send an e-mail or a memo to the ID Center, we will reactive your ID Card,
B): bring an ID authorization from the Office of Human Resources to the ID Center.
Upon retirement, an employee is eligible to receive a RETIRED ID Card. The authorization for this card can be obtained at the Office of Human Resources.back to top
